The Mentor-Student Program seeks volunteer mentors to work one on one with school-age students of various ages who benefit from having a positive adult role model in their lives. This opportunity involves training, support, and meeting with your student twice a week after school. This is a win/win experience for both the student and the mentor as you learn and grow with each other. Students are waiting and your support is needed now. This event is a wonderful way to come together, network, see old friends, make new ones, and celebrate what we can accomplish together - and raise money to empower girls and women!The event will, again, be held at the Corning Museum of Glass on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The evening begins with networking and a cash bar at 5 p.m., with a silent auction open for bids and grab bags available for purchase. The evening continues with dinner, followed by our keynote address, and then closes with dessert.
We are excited to announce the return of the YMCA Corporate Challenge, presented by Harding Brooks Insurance! Foster camaraderie and strengthen team dynamics within your organization by participating in this exciting event. Each year, dozens of local businesses and their employees gather at SUNY Broome to compete in a variety of challenges. Points will be awarded to the top 15 finishers in each of the three company divisions, with trophies presented to the top three finishers in both Corporate and Individual categories.
