Want to try curling?
The Finger Lakes Curling Club offers several Learn to Curl sessions each year—usually two in the fall and two in the winter, with occasional additional sessions in the spring. Each Learn to Curl session lasts for two hours and consists of an off-ice introduction to the game, about 45 minutes of on-ice instruction, and then about an hour of putting those newly learned skills to work in a practice game.
The club provides the instructors and all the necessary equipment to curl.
Already signed up? Here’s what you need to know:
Bring soft-soled sneakers to wear on the ice. We’ll provide grippers to go over the sole of your shoe.
We recommend dressing in layers for warmth, loose-fitting pants rather than jeans, and hats and gloves.
Bring a water bottle.
The cost is $35 per person (ages 18+).
