Music in the Glen began the summer of 2020, when all other music events were cancelled because of covid. These concerts, in beautiful Glendale Park, permitted safe, isolated listening experiences, with easy parking, shaded listening under the trees, and pristine sound from the stage at shelter 1. To date, 120 concerts have been provided. Please tell your friends and colleagues. Concerts are free, with an option for voluntary donations to help pay the musicians. MITG has received a United Cultural Fund grant from Broome County Arts Council for it's community concerts. We now have corporate and business sponsors, as we continue to grow. MITG seeks out creative and original artists who may find it more challenging to perform at local venues that tend to seek out cover bands. You can visit the website, or scan the QR code in image file, to see the artists who will perform this season. This post lists Saturday afternoon shows. There are also weekly shows on Tuesday evenings starting at 6 pm.
