Veronneau
Veronneau
Carole A special Mother’s Day show, presenting Blue Tapestry: a celebration of the music of King and Joni Mitchell. A sidestep from Veronneau’s usual repertoire which blends together acoustic bossa nova, swing, folk, and French chanson with original compositions, making a sparkling cocktail of sounds broader than any single musical genre. For Veronneau and their fans, it’s first and foremost all about the song. Currently based in the Washington DC area, Veronneau draws capacity crowds at major venues such as Blues Alley, Strathmore Main Hall, and Kennedy Center. They have participated in many US festivals including the DC Jazz Festival, in addition to the UK’s Beat Herder festival and the Callander Jazz and Blues Festival. Veronneau has toured across the US, Canada, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Sweden and the UK, performing and interviewing live on national radio, including repeat appearances to the BBC.
