Moving Day is a Parkinson’s Foundation signature national fundraising walk, uniting more than 250 participants annually in Ithaca, NY. It is more than just a walk. It is a family-friendly celebration of movement, and movement is proven to help manage PD symptoms. There will be movement demonstrations, resource exhibits and, of course, a walk around beautiful Stewart Park. There will be two walk lengths to accommodate all who attend.
Funds raised will be used to fuel quality care for nearly 200,000 people, advance research and provide resources for people living with Parkinson’s disease and their families. In this way, Moving Day is a powerful way to support the PD community and to provide the necessary resources, guidance and education that they need.
Join us for a new spring fundraising event on the morning of the Kentucky Derby! Grab your best dress, your best hat, and your best friends for a celebration of food, fashion, and fun.
