Familiar carols like Angels We Have Heard on High and Joy to the World will fill you with holiday cheer, while Avner Finberg’s Dances in Freygish adds a spirited burst of cultural celebration.Whether it’s your favorite tradition or your first time joining us, this festive concert is the perfect way to celebrate the holidays—together.
EMCS Christmas choral concert featuring Bach's Cantata # 63 (sung in English) with orchestra and soloists & seasonal works by Rutter, MacMillan and John Gardner. Audience sing- a- long as well on favorite carols. This is a free concert, but monetary donations in any amount are gratefully accepted! Directed by Robert Oldroyd.
Sarah Noell is a musician based in Ithaca, New York. Inspired by early folk songs, rocks in the river, empty fields, eros, and country music, her songs can be categorized as calm, current, and nostalgic. She has been a part of various local music projects, ranging from indie-rock to classic country. She currently plays in the duo Good Dog with Joe Hayward who contributes pedal steel guitar and vocals to the calm country-folk project. Sarah always brings special guests and friends to play with her, so stay tuned!

Earlville Opera House is located at 18 East Main Street in the quaint Village of Earlville, NY. At EOH we believe accessibility & inclusion are critical to everything we do. Our historic Opera House has been upgraded to ensure accessibility throughout the building, including a hearing loop system in our 1892 theater provided by Hamilton Hearing LLC. Joe Jencks brings an engaged musical narrative for the season, filled with heart, soul, groove, and grit. Blending well-crafted instrumentals and vivid songwriting, Joe serves it all up with a lyric baritone voice that has the edgy richness of a good sea salt caramel, warming us heart and soul. Noted for his unique merging of musical beauty, social consciousness, open-hearted humanity, and spiritual exploration, this is the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of this season.
With great joy last year, the Night Eagle Cafepresented the Jim Murphy Celtic Christmas Coat Drive and Benefit Concert for Loavesand Fishes. Six Mile Craic and members of Traonach, along with other members of theIthaca Celtic Music Community, came out to support the effort. It was such a successthat it’s become an annual event in Jim Murphy's name. On the evening of Saturday,December 13th we will again celebrate with an eclectic collection of Celtic musiciansperforming as groups, soloists, small ensembles, and concluding with an open Irishsession. All members of the Liquid State and Watershed sessions are welcome to comeand make a joyful noise with us. The Auburn Chamber Orchestra (ACO) will be performing a holiday concert entitled “Sounds of the Season”. It will be performed at Auburn High School, 250 Lake Ave, Auburn, NY 13021 on Sunday, December 14th at 2:00 PM.
Our annual "Sounds of the Season" concert, conducted by Dr. Victor Vallo, Jr., will feature both secular and sacred holiday music through the centuries. These include Joy to the World, Sleigh Ride (German Dance No. 3), Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, A Most Wonderful Christmas, and Sleigh Ride (Encore). ACO will also be joined by baritone vocalist David Rudari for Gesu Bambino, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and Sing in Exultation (Sing-A-Long).
The Auburn Chamber Orchestra is in its 39th concert season. The orchestra musicians come from a wide range of age groups, communities and professions.
