An evening of the classics with “Janus,” featuring Laura Campbell (flute), Erica Howard (oboe), Richard MacDowell (clarinet), and Michael Salmirs (piano). Music includes Caprice by Saint-Saëns, Sonata by Milhaud, and more.

Following the tradition of the Musicians’ Choice Chamber Music Series, oral program notes will be given by the musicians, interspersed throughout the performance. The short format program is presented in an intimate, relaxed setting without intermission.

​Fun for the whole family, kids under 18 are free with an adult ticket purchase.

Composer Antonin Dvořák came from Europe to America in the 1890s, where he met Native Americans and fell in love with their music. Tonight's program has music by both Dvořák and a Native American composer, Boyd Eagle, who happens to be Maestro Daniel Hege's grandfather! Come to a free, age-appropriate chat on cross-cultural musical mashups with Dr. Julia Grella O'Connell, the Philharmonic's Director of Education and Community Engagement. Do a music-inspired craft, learn a Bohemian folk dance, and hear the Philharmonic rehearse! Free for children 4-16 and their caregivers.

Join us every Monday for cider, food, and live jazz with some of the best local musicians!

MAQ is a musical ensemble based in Ithaca, NY comprised of some of the area's best seasoned jazz and Brazilian-music musicians. Its members have individually toured throughout the United States and Europe, in venues from concert halls to clubs, performing everything from classic and modern jazz to Brazilian bossa and folk music.

MAQ will play the 1st and 3rd Mondays.

It begins at 7:00 PM with a 30 minute beginner lesson and 15 minute new move
Open dance begins at 7:45 and goes until 9:30 pm Different instructors and DJs every week.
All for a $5 Donation Most weeks the lesson is East Coast Swing, once per month the lesson is West Coast swing. Most of the music is suitable for East or West Coast Swing. Other music played is suitable for Cha Cha, Night Club Two Step, Waltz, Country Two Step, Hustle, rumba and Fox Trot.
