The Ithaca High School Drama Department is proud to present its spring musical, 9 to 5: The Musical by Patricia Resnick, with an original score by Dolly Parton. Show times are Friday, April 17, at 7 pm; Saturday, April 18, at 2 pm and 7 pm; and Sunday, April 19, at 2 pm.

A musical adaptation of the eponymous 1980s screwball comedy, 9 to 5: The Musical follows three women in the 1970s workforce as they work to overthrow their sexist boss and create a more equal work environment.

9 to 5: The Musical is directed by Gabriella da Silva Carr, with choreography by Meghan Omohondro, pit direction by Jonathan Aldave, costume design by Elizabeth Kitney, and technical assistance by Steven Brookhouse. The show is produced by ICSD Fine and Performing Arts Director Daphne Shululu, in collaboration with the IHS Drama Club, Drama Department, and Tech Club officers.

All performances will take place in Ithaca High School’s Kulp Auditorium, 1401 North Cayuga St, Ithaca, NY, 14850. Tickets are available for purchase via Cheddar Up.
