Corning History and Baseball Exhibit. Baseball collection featuring jerseys, programs, baseball cards, local history of baseball in the area and more. Featuring the Corning Red Sox PONY League and other teams.

Children are invited to the Newfield Library to practice their reading skills by reading to one of Cornell Companion’s volunteer therapy dogs! Cornell Companions is an all-volunteer organization sponsored by the Cornell University Veterinary College in their 26th year of providing beneficial animal assisted activities to the community.

Join us to eat delicious snacks and discuss a manga with friends every two weeks throughout the school year! Meetings will take place every other Wednesday from 5 to 6 pm starting February 12th and ending April 23rd. Join at any time! For grades 7-12. Join us the day before Mother’s Day to spend some quality time with your children and combine your creativity to work together on decorating a cotton canvas tote bag! Or bring your favorite local matriarch and spend the day with her! We will provide the tote bags, fabric markers, acrylic paint, stencils, beads, sequins, other craft supplies and hot glue! Feel free to bring any other craft supplies you would like to use.

The Robert hunt and Lawrence Furman memorial car show at Elderwood village at vestal is a free admission to the public to come to look at the cars and it's free entry fee to put your race cars derby cars classic trucks classic cars Muscle cars hot rods street rods rat rods custom cars motorcycle mini trucks tractor pulling truck pulling vehicles atv four wheelers dirt bikes jeeps anything is welcome to be in the car show there will be a rain date of Sunday June 1st we would like cars to start showing up at 10:30am to start setting up for the car show and the car show will start at 12PM and will end at 5pm there will be food drinks music and more fun and a raffle for a chance to win prizes at the car show
